1 – Team registration

1.1. The tournament is intended exclusively for teams composed of lawyers from bar associations, groups of bar associations and law firms, notaries and magistrates.
1.2. Each team must consist of:

• 11-a-side football: 13-26 players • 5-a-side football: 6-13 players

2 – Player eligibility

2.1. Team training

Each team must be made up taking into account the following provisions:
With the exception of cases of exemption referred to in section 2.2 below, players must be:

• Lawyers registered – or historically registered – with a bar association.
• Notaries registered – or historically registered – with a chamber of notaries.
• Magistrates – or former magistrates – in the different jurisdictions of their respective countries.
• Students or trainees, in one of these three professions, aged over 22 (born before 31/12/2001), up to a maximum of 2 per team.

2.2 Principles of exemption

Exemptions may apply to holders of a legal or judicial higher education diploma and, more generally, to permanent employees of law firms, notarial studies or various jurisdictions. The number of exemptions cannot exceed 3 players per team. In this case, a list mentioning exemptions and non-exemptions, as well as a certificate of employment guaranteeing that the exemptions are indeed permanent employees of the company, must be provided. These employees must be over 30 years of age (born before 31/12/1993) in the Classic and Five Women tournaments, over 35 years of age in the Master tournament (born before 31/12/1988), over 45 years of age in the Legend tournament (born before 31/12/1978) and over 55 years of age in the Super Legend tournament (born before 31/12/1968).

2.3 Validation of exemptions

No exemption requests will be accepted for non-lawyer players who play or having played football for a professional club, a semi- professional club or any other club for payment. For exemption requests to be admissible, they should be sent to Mr Vincent PINATEL, Mundiavocat’s founding lawyer, no later than 45 days prior to the start of the tournament. All conditions set out above relating to exemptions are mandatory but are not in themselves sufficient to guarantee an exemption. The final decision lies with the waiver commission composed of Mr Vincent PINATEL and Mr Thibault PAGNIER (Director of the tournament).

3 – Team composition

Classic

• Lawyers, notaries or magistrates with no age limit and cases mentioned above.

Master

• Lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 35 years of age (born before 31/12/1988) and cases mentioned above
• 5 players who are lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 30 years of age (born before 31/12/1993)

Legend

• Lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 45 years of age (born before 31/12/1978) and cases mentioned above
• 5 players who are lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 40 years of age (born before 31/12/1983)

Super Legend

• Lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 55 years of age (born before 31/12/1968) and cases mentioned above
• 3 players who are lawyers, notaries or magistrates over 50 years of age (born before 31/12/1973)

Five Women

• Female lawyers, notaries or magistrates with no age limit and cases mentioned above.
